Just building a new site and thought it a good idea to show you the JCE content editor I use.  Where to get it, how to download it and then install it onto your Joomla site.

How to customise a Yootheme template

templatesI built this site to show the changes and experiences I've gone through as a novice to Joomla (although I think of myself as an apprentice). 

Not to miss an oppurtunity I'm going to change the way I've started, so as I change something on the site I'll write a little clip about it.

What I've done today is to customise the typography and I used Chris Pearsons 'Golden Ratio' calculator at decide some of those changes.


Thank goodness I had a backup!

Everyone has heard of the need to back up their data, but users are  seldom efficient enough to have a sound system in place.

When developing anything this is important, if you are developing using a CMS (content management system) this is doubly important.
